World Earth Day: Don urges FG on development of renewable energy

By Agency Report Dr. Amauche Nnabuze, Coordinator, Parents for Future Nigeria (PFFN), University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), has urged the Federal Government to create the enabling environment for the development of renewable energy. Nnabuze gave this advice at an event organised by PFFN in collaboration with Don’t Liter Initiative (DLI), to mark 2023 World Earth Day on Saturday in Nsukka. The theme for the 2023 World Earth Day is “Invest in Our Planet”. Eid-el-Fitr : UNN Chief Imam urges Nigerians to embrace love, forgiveness

By Agency Report Dr. Abdulmuminu Isah, the Chief Imam,  University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) Central Mosque has urged Nigerians to embrace  love, respect and forgiveness  for one another  especially during this post general elections period. Isah gave the advice in Nsukka on Friday in a homily during the Eid-el-Fitr service to mark the end of this year's Ramadan fasting. He said that, Nigerians should respect one another as well as constituted authorities in the country in order to move the country forward. NASU Leadership Warns Members Against Divisiveness

By our reporter The leadership of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions, NASU, has warned its members to desist from act that could jeopardize peace and unity of the union, stressing that NASU is the only recognized body that carters for the non-teaching staff in higher institutions in the country and should be guarded jealously. NEPC trains 100 beekeepers in Nsukka on quality honey for export

The one-day capacity training was on building/intervention programme on the development of honey and honey by-products for export was organised by NEPC in collaboration with Aku JOFRAN Global Concept (AJGC) In a remark in Nsukka, Dr Ezra Yakusak the Executive Director (ED) of NEPC said that, the  objective of the training was to teach participants on how to produce honey and its by-products that would be fit for export in any part of the world. Obetta  the Labour Party (LP) scored 50,881 votes to defeat his closest rival, Chief Vita Abba of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate,  who polled 19, 347 votes to emerge winner in February 25 general election.
