Why I walked out from Nsukka/Igboeze-South House of Rep  PDP primary election - Asogwa By Our Reporter Chief Jude Asogwa, one of the Aspirants in  Nsukka/Igboeze-South Federal constituency  in People Democratic Party (PDP) election primary on Sunday, said he walked out because the faces of deligates he saw were strange to him. Asogwa made the allegation at the newly built Nsukka stadium the venue of the primary on Sunday while speaking with newsmen. He said he would not participate in the  primary because faces of deligates that would vote were  strange and not delegates elected by PDP in congress. " I will not participate in this primary , l am walking away because it appears somebody somewhere have produce new list of delegates to meet his purpose. "I am walking away because I will not be part of this illegallity," he said. When asked what would  be his next line of action, Asogwa said he would consult his lawyers before he would take decision of what next to do

DG-ECN says  50 per cent of African population have no access to electricity By Agency Reporter Prof Eli Bala, the Director General, Energy Centre of Nigeria (ECN) says over 50 per cent of African population have no access to electricity according to recent data by United Nations. Bala said this in Nsukka on Thursday during the 5th International Conference and workshop for Energy Sustainable Development in Africa held at National Centre for Energy Research and Development, (NCERD), University of Nigeria Nsukka, (UNN) with the  theme ; "Sustainable Energy: The Solution To Post Covid-19 Energy Crisis in Africa." PDP chairmen in Enugu North district say, delegates didn't endorse Edeoga as governorship candidate By Agency Reporter Mr Fabian Onah, Coordinating Chairman, People Democratic Party (PDP) Local Government chairmen in Enugu North Senatorial District, says  the district didn't endorse Mr Chijioke Edoaga as governorship candidate on Tuesday. Man, 31, in Police net for spying a church in Nsukka with drone camera By Ikemefuna Ikem A 31-years old man Michael Ali was on Saturday arrested, by operatives of Nsukka Urban Police command for allegedly spying, filming and taking pictures of High Way to Grace Assembly Church, Nsukka, with a drone camera. A Police office in Area Command who pleaded anonymity confirmed the arrest of Ali and said that they responded to a distress call From Rev Chikamadu Eze, the Founder and General Overseer of the church around 8.30am. " Police from Nsukka area command rushed to the church compound at Alor-Uno Community in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State and arrested the suspect together with the drone and a smart phone.
